Advocacy
Advocacy on behalf of adults includes emergency after hours response, medical and legal advocacy, emotional support, safety planning, case management, and resource referral.
Advocacy on behalf of children is designed to support and guide the non-offending caregiver in this time of crisis so they can better support their child, as well as provide education about child abuse and help the family find any other resources they may need.
Our advocates provide ongoing support for the survivors and their families throughout the investigation and legal processes, if the case requires. The advocates will help clients and their families understand the court system and what will happen when they testify as well as notify them of legal proceedings.
